What to Expect

Cascada El Pavón may not be the tallest or most powerful waterfall in Costa Rica, with its approximate height of 10 meters/33 feet, but its unique feature makes it truly memorable and highly photogenic. A large, round boulder sits perfectly wedged between its two towering rock walls at the top of the cascade, as if placed there intentionally by some giant or otherworldly force.
